How much notice is needed to order a cake?

We want to make every dog’s cake dreams come true so we will always do our very best to fill last minute order if there is capacity. At least a week’s notice is required for standard cake orders. If you are wanting to discuss any add-ons or decorations that aren’t offered on the menu, 2 weeks notice will be required so that I can determine if it’s something I’m able to do.

If you are requesting a cake with less than a week’s notice, certain options and add-ons may be unavailable.

When can I expect a response back after sending in my cake request?

Please allow 48-72 hours for a response. This is why a week’s notice is important so that I have enough time to respond and clarify any information about your order.

I noticed that all of your frosting colours are pastel shades - do you offer darker colours?

While food colouring is safe for dogs to consume, I try to keep the amount that I use very minimal. Because of this I’m not able to achieve darker shades or colours such as brown and black.

The colours that I offer are: Blue, Teal, Green, Purple, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Peach and White. If you see a cake that I’ve previously done and you like the colours feel free to reference that cake.

Do you offer anything other than cakes?

At this time I am only taking cake orders. As this is a side business and I work full-time at another job, I do not have capacity to fulfill other treat orders. I try to do occasional treat weekends throughout the year. When a treat weekend if planned I will post on social media and my website so that orders can be placed.

Do you have a storefront?

We do not currently have a storefront. Cake orders can be picked up near Glanford Park in Saanich.
